Oct. 31, Wednesday 5 p.m., Annual Children's Halloween Parade. Who or what will you be? Starts near 88th Street and continues down 37th Avenue. Sponsored by the Jackson Heights Beautification Group.

Nov. 14th, Wednesday, 7 PM - Community Church, 35th Avenue and 82nd Street. Patty Kleinberg, compost project director of the Queens Botanical Gardens talks about her work and gives tips. Sponsored by The Garden Committee of JHBG.

Mid- December, exact date still to be chosen - Holiday Lighting Ceremony. Post Office at 37th Avenue and 78th Street. Sponsored by the Jackson Heights Beautification Group.
