Welcome to the Friends of Terra Cotta Database

Over the last two decades FOTC has formed a large collection which includes varied materials: original manufacturing documents, drawings and watercolors; historic catalogues, magazines and books; three-dimensional objects; thousands of slides and black & white photographs; recent graduate papers and theses; contemporary restoration resources; articles on all aspects of terra cotta; and records of our organizational activities.

The largest quantity of material falls into the last two categories: articles and the organization's preservation efforts. With the support of the New York State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts the articles relating to terra cotta have been organized, catalogued and listed in a database. There are currently 650 articles listed in the database (this number will continue to steadily grow since the database is a work-in-progress)
